Today I thought I'd do the usual thing a tourist would do,
so I took a look at possible sightseeing tours and what museums
were open. Somehow this didn't excite me and so I redefined what
would be the usual and went shopping instead.
I went to the Suria KLCC, the most recent addition to KL's
shopping centers. More specifically, I went to the custom-tailoring
shops, for getting your custom-made suit. Quite bewildering. You
can choose your cloth, say something from Ermenegildo Zegna, a
style, maybe something from Brioni, let the tailor take measure,
and... go broke. It isn't as cheap as usually reported. A custom-tailored
suit will cost you from 500 Euro upwards, depending on the cloth.
Still, by European standards that may not be much, but if you
don't know and trust the tailor, it may be too much of a gamble.
Oh well...
The sound of KL is happy Trance, at least in the shopping centers.
Simple and plain, just lots of bpm (beats per minute), and not
too complicated. Just the right thing for me, nothing challenging,
nothing too intellectual.
Ah, forget the accounting homework. Into the night...
