After 10+ years of blogging by writing static HTML pages like this one, it has become obvious that I'm a technological stalwart. Hardcore! And way behind the times. So over the 2007/2008 break I finally got my act together and installed Wordpress (MU) on my server. The first blog to move there are my personal ramblings that you used to find at http://www.riehle.org/personal.html. Starting January 1st, 2008, you can find them at http://dirkriehle.com.
For the time being, my research blog remains at http://www.riehle.org using the old well-known format that my site has had for the last couple of years. But eventually, I intend to move it over to Wordpress as well. It just is much more convenient and taps into all the nice goodies the web has to offer these days.
In case you ever wondered what happened with my (short-lived) industry blog---I merged it a while back into the research blog. Not much happened there, anyway, partly because it was so cumbersome to maintain %-)
