OOPSLA 2006 will be held in Portland, OR. William Cook is the program chair; I'm on his committee. This time, there will be an interesting change, bringing an OOPSLA publication closer to a journal publication than ever before: Authors get to see the PC reviews before the actual PC meeting! So they can comment on the reviews and clarify questions and concerns the PC members might have expressed in their review. Wow, this is an intriguing idea! I can't wait to see how this will play out.
